We love the area
While the room was listed as non-smoking, the lobby and hallways reeked of cigarettes; there was no elevator and the stairways were dirty; the ice machine on our floor was broken; the 'private balcony' has two uncomfortable and not very sturdy chairs; the room did have two queen beds but the room was so small you barely had enough room to move around them; and the staff was less than friendly. I booked the room based on your rating--my mistake!

Everything was awesome, this hotel had impressive rooms and its breakfast was gorgeous! Excellent service, although a few employees were poor. Our room had a soft bed and a nice view. The location was convenient, within easy walking distance of Soco Falls. Appreciated our great stay there a lot.

Rustic charm with a river view
Waking up to the sound of the creek was pure bliss. Our room had a private balcony with rocking chairs.
The coffee was lukewarm and uninviting. The parking lot had tall shrubs.

The view from our room was beautiful. The pool was a comfortable place for a grandmother to enjoy her grandchildren. The breakfast area was well-stocked and well-kept.
The drinking cups were not restocked from 1 day to the next. We had to ask for more. The corners of the room at the ceiling were dirty from collected "webs".

It was just a proper fit for a short weekend trip in Maggie Valley with extraordinarily good value for money. The staff was nice enough during check-in, making the process easy. For a better experience, try to check in during less busy times.

Loved creekside balcony! Great location and reasonably priced. Very good breakfast area with two waffle-makers. Great place to stay when attending Folkmoot in July each year.
Didn't have option of specifying creekside room and was given roadside room first night. Fortunately, was able to move for second night. No wifi available so this should not be listed. There was pc in lobby for guests to use but nothing in room. Have discovered that we could have saved $50 if we had booked directly with motel.

Its location on the beautiful Jonathan Creek.
We could have used an elevator. The pool is small. But the staff members provided great service. And the location on the mountain creek is wonderful .Also, the breakfast was nice.

Had a blast with my friends! The hotel's location makes it easy to visit nearby theme parks and enjoy water adventures like rafting. The views from our room were amazing, and we loved hanging out at the pool after a busy day.
Would have liked some time to unwind there.
